Job summary

Kennebunk Center for Health & Rehabilitation in Kennebunk, ME is hiring an Activities Assistant to plan and implement engaging activities for our aging residents. This full-time role includes some evenings and weekends, with a $750 sign-on bonus and an hourly wage of $19–$21.

You'll help design a monthly calendar, lead arts and crafts, games and music, and provide one-on-one support to residents, fostering a warm, compassionate community where care and excellence come first.

• Previous long-term care or senior living experience preferred but not required

• Plan, organize, and execute a diverse range of activities for residents

What You'll Do:

• $750 sign on bonus!

Rate of Pay

USD $19.00 - USD $21.00 /Hr.

What You'll Bring:

Qualifications of an Activities Assistant include:

• Previous experience in a Long-Term Care or senior living setting is preferred but not required - training will be provided
• Compassionate and empathetic nature
• Interest in the therapeutic needs of the aged and the chronically ill with the ability to work with both
• Ability to read, write and comprehend English
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
