Job summary

American Senior Communities is seeking an Activity Assistant at Hillcrest Village in Indiana. The role focuses on enriching residents’ lives with age-appropriate activities and a warm, caring presence in a team-focused environment.

You will collaborate with the care team to support residents’ emotional and social needs, manage activity schedules, and contribute to a joyful living atmosphere for seniors in our community.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (or equivalent) with related experience or training (1–3 months).
• State-approved CNA training and competency evaluation program or CNA CE program.

Requirements

• Demonstrates C.A.R.E. values to our residents, family members, customers and staff. Compassion, Accountability, Relationships and Excellence
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Successful completion of a State approved Nursing Assistant training and competency evaluation program or a CNA competency evaluation program approved by the State. This training can also be provided by the community.
