Job summary

Richland Bean-Blossom Health Care Center in Indiana is seeking a part-time Activity Coordinator to develop and implement engaging programs for residents, aligning with their needs and interests. You will work with management and interdisciplinary teams to enhance resident well-being while ensuring compliance with policies.

Schedule options include Monday and Wednesday 9am–4pm or Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 9am–2pm.

Qualifications

• High energy, enthusiasm, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in English (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, organizing, and leading daily activities and programs for residents.
• Support a variety of recreational, social, educational, spiritual, physical, and therapeutic activities based on residents’ interests and abilities.
• Encourage resident participation while respecting individual preferences, abilities, and comfort levels.
• Provide one-on-one and small-group activities for residents who may not participate in larger programs.
• Assist residents with transportation to and from activities and provide support as needed during programs.
• Help prepare activity rooms, supplies, equipment, and materials before and after scheduled programs.

Schedule: Monday and Wednesday (9am-4 pm) or Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday (9am-2pm)

Job Summary:

Education and/or Experience:

Associate degree (A.A) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Meets state and federal requirements.
