Lorien Harmony Hall in Columbia, MD is hiring Activities Assistants to join our resident-centered care team. We offer meaningful daily programs and opportunities to grow in a supportive, award-winning environment.

This role is full- and part-time, paying $16.00–$19.00 per hour, with benefits such as PTO, holidays, tuition assistance, health coverage, and more. You’ll lead activities, engage residents, and contribute to a vibrant community.

Qualifications

• Availability for full-time, part-time or PRN hours.
• Shifts: Days, Evenings, Nights.
• Ability to safely lift, push, and pull up to 25–50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning and implementing daily activity programs.
• Lead group activities such as games, crafts, exercise classes, music programs, and social events.
• Encourage resident participation and build positive relationships.
• Escort residents to and from activities as needed.
• Help decorate and set up for parties, holidays, and special events.
• Maintain activity supplies and equipment.
• Document resident attendance and participation.
• Observe residents for changes in mood, behavior, or abilities and report concerns to the appropriate staff.
• Support community outings and transportation activities when applicable.

Pay Rate

$16.00 – $19.00 per hour
