Job summary

Oil City Nursing and Rehab in Venango County, PA is seeking an Activity Aide to plan, organize, and lead engaging activities for residents from 10 am to 6 pm. You will join the recreation therapy team to promote physical, emotional, and social well-being.

You will collaborate with staff to address resident needs, maintain calendars, and assist with events, while ensuring documentation and inventory are up to date.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; post-secondary education in recreational therapy or related field preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work with residents, families, and staff.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and lead recreational activities to stimulate resident participation.
• Develop and maintain a calendar of events and activities for diverse resident needs.
