Job summary

Paycom's Loveland Care Center in Loveland, OH is seeking an Activities Aide to assist in planning, organizing, and implementing recreational and therapeutic activities for residents. The role aims to enhance quality of life through social, physical, emotional, and cognitive stimulation.

You will work closely with the Activities Director to tailor programs to individual needs, lead group activities, monitor safety, and document participation while maintaining a welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in activities coordination or elderly care preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in Activity Planning: plan schedules for residents' physical, mental and social well-being.
• Lead and Facilitate Activities: set up and run group activities, adapt for mobility and cognitive ability.
• Resident Interaction: build relationships, monitor safety, support emotional needs.
• Documentation: record attendance and participation per facility policies.
• Set-Up and Clean-Up: prepare spaces and restore them after activities.
• Special Event Support: organize events and coordinate with volunteers and staff.

The goal is to enhance residents' quality of life through social, physical, emotional, and cognitive stimulation.
