Job summary

ENS Solutions, LLC is seeking a cybersecurity specialist to implement and operate next‑generation security tools for government and commercial clients. You’ll use Splunk, integrating HBSS, ESM, NSM, NetFlow and IDS to monitor, detect, and analyze threats across large networks.

You’ll perform hands‑on evaluation, implementation, and operation of cyber defense tools and apply in‑depth defense strategies for rapid vulnerability identification.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with Splunk Enterprise.
• Experience deploying, configuring, and validating Splunk in Windows and Linux.
• Experience creating dashboards, queries, and alerts.
• Familiarity with DoD Risk Management Framework.
• Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with ability to obtain a CI polygraph.
• Education options include HS diploma, Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree with IT experience.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification (e.g., CCNA-Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, SSCP).
• Ability to obtain additional DoD Cybersecurity Service Provider cert before start date.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, detect, and analyze threats using Splunk integrated with HBSS, ESM, NSM, NetFlow and IDS.
• Perform hands-on evaluation, implementation, and operation of cyber defense tools.
• Apply defense strategies for large, complex networks to identify vulnerabilities and prioritize responses.
• Support risk management and security compliance for specified cybersecurity tools.
