Job summary

Union County Public Schools is seeking a School Nutrition Assistant to work in our active cafeteria setting, serving students and faculty Monday through Friday during the school year. You will be on your feet for much of the shift, lift up to 50 pounds occasionally, and ensure food safety and cleanliness to health department standards.

Responsibilities

• Keep the kitchen and dining area up to health department regulations.
• Sweep, mop and/or take out trash as needed.
• Serve wholesome, nutritious food to students, staff and parents; stay on your feet and be active during shifts.
• Be prepared to lift up to 50 pounds on occasion.
