Job summary

Union County Public Schools is seeking a School Nutrition Assistant to join our cafeteria team, serving students and staff Monday through Friday during the school year.

This role requires physical activity, including lifting up to 50 pounds and being on your feet much of the shift. You will help maintain clean, safe kitchens and dining areas in compliance with health regulations, including sweeping and trash duties.

• Must be responsible and dependable in adherence to the work schedule.
• Internal applicants MUST know how to CASHIER and External applicants MUST PROFIcIENTLY CASHIER WITHIN 30 DAYS OF BEING HIRED

Responsibilities

• Be physically active and able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Keep kitchen and dining areas up to health department regulations; sweep, mop and take out trash as needed.
• Serve children and faculty in a fast-paced school cafeteria environment.
