The Waters in Oak Creek, WI is seeking an experienced Active Life Manager to design and oversee wellness programs that enhance residents' physical, cognitive and social wellbeing.

You will lead the active life team, coordinate community activities, collaborate with therapists and kitchen and health teams, and ensure programming aligns with a holistic wellbeing model to help residents THRIVE.

Qualifications

• Experience in leading group classes including body, mind and spirit.
• Experience creating innovative, holistic programming for seniors.
• Experience working with integrative therapies.
• Licensed/certified by appropriate professional board/body in accordance with education or specialty required.
• Current CPR certification.
• Practice a holistic approach to helping seniors THRIVE in The Waters environment.
• Bachelor's degree in exercise science, recreational therapy, kinesiology, or related areas preferred.

Responsabilités

• The Active Life Manager designs and engages the community in areas of wellbeing to enhance residents' functional status.
• Provide oversight to active life coordinators and manage the community calendar.
• Lead teams in providing integrative therapies and partner with physical therapists, chefs, and health wellbeing teams.
