Job summary

The U.S. Navy is seeking a General Dentist to serve as an Active-Duty Dental Corps Officer, providing comprehensive dental care to maintain the oral health and readiness of service members in both operational and non-operational settings.

You will diagnose and treat cavities, gum disease, and infections; perform cleanings, fillings, extractions, and other general procedures; educate patients on preventive care; and support mission readiness with exceptional care and a strong team.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS from a CODA accredited school in the U.S.
• Between the ages of 21 and 64 (Federal Law: Title 10 U.S. Code section 531 and 532)

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive dental care to ensure the oral health and readiness of service members in both operational and non-operational settings.
• Diagnose and treat a range of conditions, including cavities, gum disease, and oral infections.
• Perform cleanings, fillings, extractions, and other general dental procedures.
• Educate patients on preventive care and manage dental emergencies.
• Support mission readiness by sustaining oral health.
