Job summary

Revel IT is seeking an Active Directory Technical Manager/Lead to join the Cloud Infrastructure team in Houston. This role blends hands-on technical work with formal leadership, overseeing on-prem AD operations and hybrid Entra ID integration.

You will guide a small team, manage complex migrations, and drive AD optimization initiatives across multi-domain environments, ensuring security and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 7+ years of hands-on on-premises Active Directory experience including multi-domain/forest environments.
• Experience leading AD migrations and domain consolidations.
• Strong troubleshooting of AD issues (replication, DNS, AD PKI).
• Solid knowledge of hybrid AD with Entra ID and Azure AD Connect.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of AD engineers, guiding technical decisions and mentoring juniors.
• Oversee on-prem AD operations, migrations of workstations and servers, and domain consolidations.
• Ensure seamless hybrid AD integration with Entra ID and cloud connectivity.
