Kforce is seeking a senior Active Directory Engineer for a Fortune 100 client in Houston, TX. The role focuses on architecture, design, and migration strategy for large-scale identity modernization, not day-to-day support.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of AD engineering and architecture experience.
• Expertise in AD design, authentication, LDAP, Kerberos, trusts, and SIDHistory.
• Experience with multi-forest environments, Entra ID (Azure AD), and hybrid identity.
• Hands-on experience leading enterprise AD migrations and modernization initiatives.
• Experience in Fortune 500 or large enterprise environments preferred.
• PowerShell, Quest migration tools, SailPoint, and PKI experience are a plus.

Responsibilities

Kforce's client, a Fortune 100 organization in Houston, TX, is seeking a senior Active Directory Engineer to support a large-scale identity modernization and Active Directory transformation initiative. This role is focused on architecture, design, and migration strategy within complex enterprise environments, not day-to-day operational support. The ideal candidate has experience designing and implementing Active Directory solutions for large-scale, multi-forest environments and can provide technical leadership on identity modernization, AD migrations, trust relationships, authentication services, and M&A integrations.

Requirements

• 8+ years of Active Directory engineering and architecture experience

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
