Job summary

A financial services technology firm is seeking a mid-senior level Financial Crimes Compliance Technology Software Engineer to enhance Actimize solutions for AML and Customer Risk models. This role entails implementing Actimize patches, developing custom processes, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure compliance and effectiveness. Ideal candidates will have substantial experience with Actimize platforms, programming skills in Java and Python, and a strong background in AML frameworks. The position is full-time, located in New York.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in financial services with AML, CTR, Name/Message Screening, and Fraud experience.
• 3+ years of end‑to‑end Actimize SAM, CDD, and CTR implementation experience.
• Experience with data integration, scenario design, statistical analysis, and model tuning.

Responsibilities

• Implement and test Actimize patches in Non-Prod environments.
• Develop custom Actimize processes, SQL procedures, Java plugins.
• Gather and document functional and technical requirements with stakeholders.
• Implement new FCC solutions supporting AML, OFAC, and Fraud.
• Analyze and tune models for AML and Customer Risk Rating.

Skills

Advanced knowledge of Actimize platforms

Programming experience in Java/J2EE

Programming experience in Python

Familiarity with automated scheduling tools

Strong understanding of Actimize AML solutions

Knowledge of Change, Incident, and Problem Management

Education

Bachelor’s degree in CS, IT, Engineering, or related field
