Job summary

Galin Education is seeking tutors to work one-on-one and in small groups with high school students to prepare for ACT, SAT, and PSAT exams. Tutors use an existing curriculum plus extra materials, under the supervision of the Education Director who coordinates trainings and ongoing tutor development.

Compensation starts at $30–$50/hour for tutoring and $10/hour for training, with opportunities for referral bonuses and annual increases.

Qualifications

• Score at or above the 95th percentile on ACT or SAT (test prep) or prior education experience.
• Flexibility for evenings and/or weekends.
• Willingness to commit to at least six hours per week during summer and school year.
• Attending monthly evening trainings (training rate paid).
• Plan to be in/around Milwaukee, WI for at least 18 months.

Responsibilities

• Tutor high school students one-on-one or in small groups to prepare for ACT/SAT/PSAT.
• Report to the Education Director who oversees training and tutor development.
