Job summary

Huntington Learning Center of Omaha is seeking a part-time Math/ACT Tutor to work one-on-one with motivated high school students. The role focuses on tutoring and ACT/SAT prep in a supportive, structured setting at Huntington Learning Center.

We offer training and materials, plus a flexible part-time schedule including daytime, evening, weekend, and summer hours. Teaching hours are primarily after school and on weekends, with opportunities for permanent or seasonal roles.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree required.
• Experience tutoring is a plus.
• Strong math skills and familiarity with ACT/SAT tested material.

Responsibilities

Due to expanding enrollment, Huntington Learning Center of Omaha is growing our team and looking for a Math/ACT Tutor to work one on one with motivated high school students.

Tutoring and exam prep at Huntington is a great way to develop or sharpen your teaching skills while making a real impact on students' academic confidence and outcomes.

What you will do:

• Provide individualized math tutoring and ACT exam prep.
• Work one on one with students in a supportive, structured environment.
• Help students build skills, confidence, and test-taking strategies.

What we are looking for:

• Strong math skills, especially higher-level concepts.
• Familiarity with the ACT or SAT and standardized testing.
• Professional, responsible, and reliable.
• Positive, enthusiastic, flexible, and supportive with high school students.

Requirements:

• Undergraduate degree required.

Preferred:

• Advanced degree is a plus.
• Teaching or tutoring experience is a plus.

• Teaching hours during the school year are M-Thur. 4:00 pm to 8:30 pm and Friday 4:00 pm to 6:30 pm and Saturday and Sunday 9 am - 1 pm. During the summer teaching hours are 9:00 am to 7:00 pm M-Thur. 9:00 am to 1:00 pm Fri and Sat.
