Job summary

Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai Health System is seeking a full-time board certified/board eligible Psychiatrist for the ACT program affiliated with Queens Hospital Center. The ACT physician will be part of a multidisciplinary team with primary clinical responsibility for monitoring treatment and coordinating medical care, including 32 ACT hours and 8 CPEP hours.

Qualifications

• Board certification or board-eligible in psychiatry.
• Experience with ACT model of care and severe mental illness.
• Current New York State License, Medicaid number and DEA number required.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychiatric assessment and treatment in the community.
• Monitor client treatment and supervise staff delivering clinical services.
• Coordinate medical care with clients' psychiatric treatment.
• Teach/mentor psychiatry residents and medical students within Queens Hospital Center.
