Job summary

Bowhead is seeking an Acquisition Specialist, Journeyman to support PMA‑275 for naval aviation programs. The role emphasizes developing acquisition documentation, ensuring compliance with specifications and contract requirements, and participating in briefings and reviews.

The incumbent should have a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent), 3–8 years of relevant experience, and proficiency with AMS, NAVAIR PMTs, and the CDRL tool, plus strong communication and detail orientation.

Qualifications

• Must have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 3–8 years of experience in acquisition duties.
• Experience with AMS, NAVAIR PMTs and CDRL tools is required.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Strong interpersonal skills and meticulous attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Supports the development of program acquisition documentation (APs, ASR, PID, SOW, funding docs, CDRLs, APBA).
• Assesses procedures for compliance with specs, contracts, and mission requirements.
• Attends and reports on briefs, papers, meetings, and review boards.
