Job summary

A leading technology solutions provider located in Cupertino is seeking an experienced Test Engineer III to support acoustics software testing. The role requires executing acoustic measurements and validating tools, with a strong emphasis on independent problem-solving and communication. Ideal candidates will have solid experience in acoustics and related tools, ensuring accuracy in regulatory testing. This position offers a competitive hourly wage of $52-$55/hr and requires fully onsite work.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of acoustics and signal processing fundamentals.
• Familiarity with acoustic measurement equipment such as ear simulators.

Responsibilities

• Execute acoustic measurements and validate tools for regulatory testing.
• Develop and improve processes through SOP creation and documentation.
• Collaborate with team members and maintain prompt communication.

Skills

Understanding of acoustics and signal processing fundamentals

Proficiency with Soundcheck audio measurement software

Experience executing and debugging scripts in Python

Experience executing and debugging scripts in MATLAB

Ability to work independently

Strong organizational skills

Education

3 to 5 years of relevant industry experience

Educational background in acoustics, audio engineering, and/or hearing sciences
