Acoustics Team Lead

• Assist in the responsibility for operations of production including staff development, profitability, morale, quality control and marketing support.
• Serve as an Assistant Project Manager and assist in responsibility for production on projects in addition to management responsibilities.
• Maintain administrative responsibility for section staff and technical service functions, and lead and coordinate services with other sections.
• Engage in marketing planning, proposals, interviews and direct client interaction related to marketing and project production.
• Ensure all work is planned, organized, controlled and evaluated through proactive project management systems; implement, monitor and support company policy; assist in the selection, training, development and management of technical personnel.
• Collaborate cooperatively with National Directors and marketing staff in local and national marketing and production efforts.
• Act as an experienced acoustical and/or vibration specialist conducting analyses to develop design options or recommendations and prepare service deliverable documents.
• Perform acoustical (noise/vibration) assignments requiring application of standard and non‑standard techniques and procedures.
• Complete projects with clear, specified objectives and limited variables.
• Work independently on projects or assist more senior scientists on larger projects.
• Focus on tasks including architectural acoustics, environmental noise and vibration‑related analyses.
• Perform other related duties as necessary.

Preferred Qualifications

• PE or INCE Board certification.
• Bachelor's degree in Acoustics, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, or a closely related field.
• Minimum of 5 years related experience.
• Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• Proficiency with state‑of‑the‑art software used to process and analyze acoustic measurement data.
• Familiarity with relevant ISO and related U.S. acoustical standards.
• Familiarity with current environmental noise guidance documents for acoustical analyses (FHWA, FTA, FRA, etc.).

Required Qualifications

• Professional registration, license or certification may be required based on role.

• Ability to handle multiple assignments.
