TECHLITE is seeking an Acoustics Engineer to support the design, testing, and development of acoustic and insulation products. This role blends acoustic analysis, product development, materials science, and cross-functional collaboration, offering hands-on exposure to engineered-to-order solutions.

  • Support prototype development and product improvement initiatives

  • Work with Sales and Business Development to help translate technical performance into customer-ready solutions

  • Contribute to technical documentation, reports, and product data sheets

  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within engineering and production

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Acoustical Engineering, Architectural Engineering, Materials Engineering, Physics, Aerospace Engineering, or a related technical discipline

This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines. At times the employee may be exposed to airborne particulates, moving mechanical parts, and vibrations on the production floor. The noise level can be loud at times.

This role is partially sedentary; however, some filing is required. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The position involves sitting, talking, hearing, climbing stairs, using the elevator, and walking throughout the 8-10-hour shift. Hand-eye coordination is necessary to operate tools, drafting instruments, computers, printers, and various equipment.
