Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of commercial acoustical ceiling installation experience preferred.
• Experience on commercial and federal projects preferred.
• Skilled in suspended ceiling systems and grid installation.
• Knowledge of seismic framing requirements.
• Ability to read blueprints and ceiling plans.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and work at heights.

Responsibilities

• Layout and install acoustical ceiling systems and framing components.
• Install ceiling tiles, panels, trims, and accessories per drawings.
• Read and interpret blueprints and reflected ceiling plans.
• Take precise measurements for alignment and elevation.
• Install seismic bracing per codes.
• Coordinate with other trades around lighting and HVAC.
• Inspect ceilings for quality and compliance.
• Safely operate hand and power tools and lifts.
• Maintain clean, safe work area per OSHA.
