Job Description:

Responsibilities include:

• Install hanger wire, grid, and other suspension systems for tile and other materials.
• Measure and cut tile for installation.
• Assist with cleanup, scrapping, moving materials, tools, or equipment.
• Erect and dismantle scaffolds.
• Calculate unit costs based on material quantity, hours worked, and labor costs.
• Attend and participate in all required company training programs.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements include:

• Lift up to 65 lbs. (ceiling tile box 65 lbs., grid box 40 lbs.).
• Lift 5 to 10 lbs. above head regularly, approximately 10-12 times per hour.
• Push and pull up to 15 lbs. regularly for 6-7 hours per day.
• Carry boxes of tile and grid occasionally, 1-2 hours daily.
• Reach above shoulder and at shoulder height with weights of 10-15 lbs. regularly.
• Use fingers and both hands dexterously, maintain mental alertness and coordination.
• Stand or walk for 8 hours a day.
• Climb scaffolds 10 feet or higher, 4-8 times daily; scaffolds or stilts may be used.
• Corrected vision to at least 20/40 to perform tasks effectively.
