CHRISTUS Health in Tyler, TX, seeks a motivated ACNP/PA for inpatient CVICU and cardiothoracic surgery coverage. Join a physician-led team of three surgeons, three PAs, and five NPs in a high-volume program with opportunities for professional growth and leadership.

The role features a 7:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m. schedule on a 7-on/7-off cycle, a collaborative environment, and a focus on patient-centered care and clinical excellence. Tyler offers affordable living and a strong healthcare district.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed in TX or be eligible to be licensed.
• New graduates will be considered.
• ACNP/PA certification or eligibility is required for practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient CVICU care in a cardiothoracic surgery setting.
• Collaborate with three surgeons and a physician-led team.
• Work 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on a 7-on/7-off schedule.
• Contribute to growth opportunities and leadership development.
• Exposure to high-volume cardiac and thoracic case load; ECMO program under development.

Inpatient CVICU/Cardiothoracic Surgery – Tyler, TX

We are looking for a motivated clinician who values teamwork, clinical excellence, and patient centered care. We offer excellent quality of life in east Texas with an easy commute and access to the healthcare district.

Care is provided primarily in the inpatient CVICU with additional coverage at the main hospital.

ACNP/PA will work directly with one of our three surgeons

7:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.

7 on/7 off schedule

We have remained a 3 Star STS cardiac surgery program since 2022 and have been consecutively awarded the lowest readmission rates following coronary bypass surgery in the country from Becker’s Hospital Review.

As one of the region’s busiest cardiothoracic surgery programs, we offer exposure to a diverse, high volume cardiac and thoracic surgical case load.
