The Role

The Store Manager plays a crucial role in the daily operations of retail partner stores. Responsibilities include managing all store activities, maximizing revenue and profits, training and developing staff, and meeting sales goals. This position is based at one of our retail partner store locations.

Compensation

The role offers a salary in accordance with Acima's payroll procedures, ranging from $44,000 to $49,500 annually. Bonuses and incentives may also be available, contingent upon meeting specific criteria.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and direct store staff daily
• Motivate, evaluate, and coach employees; handle disciplinary actions when necessary
• Identify and promote staff for advancement
• Build partnerships with store personnel to generate referrals and educate on leasing processes
• Train staff in customer service excellence
• Address and resolve employee and customer issues promptly
• Create a positive work environment to retain staff
• Recruit, interview, and hire new staff

Sales

• Set and monitor sales objectives
• Guide staff in sales activities
• Oversee lease agreements, ensuring revenue growth
• Handle challenging accounts and authorize customer commitments
• Promote leasing services and educate customers on terms and payments

Job Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• High school diploma or GED
• Proven success in retail management
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant software
• Knowledge of inventory and merchandising principles
• Familiarity with rental/leasing industry is a plus
• Organized with good time-management skills
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Regular in-person attendance
