Job summary

University of Minnesota Physicians seeks a board certified/eligible Cardiologist at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor rank to expand adult cardiology clinical care, teaching, and research.

The role integrates clinical work across clinics and hospital services with a focus on education, research, and program development within the Lillihei Heart Institute and related divisions.

Qualifications

• Board eligible or board certified in Internal Medicine or Pediatrics.
• Adult or Pediatric Cardiology board eligibility/certification.
• Licensed or ability to obtain MN license and DEA.
• Ability to obtain US work authorization (USCIS).

Responsibilities

• Provide adult (and possibly pediatric) cardiology clinical care.
• Participate in teaching and training of fellows, residents, and medical students.
• Engage in research activities and pursue external grant submissions when appropriate.
• Contribute to outreach clinics and regional academic missions.
