Job summary

Carmichael Lynch in Minneapolis is seeking an Associate Creative Director, Copywriter (ACD/CW) with 6+ years in a traditional ad agency to lead client work and contribute to new business. You’ll deliver strategic, award-winning work across TV, online video, social, digital, and experiential, while mentoring juniors and collaborating with partners.

Salary range is $120,000–$140,000 annually. Omnicom offices require in-office presence, with a phased approach to five days as directed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6+ years in a traditional ad agency Copywriter role.
• Proven track record of concepting, selling, and shipping full-funnel creative work across TV, online video, social, digital, and experiential.
• Management/supervisor experience welcome; awarded/credited work expected.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects and run productions solo.
• Balance core client assignments with ad hoc briefs and new business opportunities.
• Provide and mentor feedback to junior creatives; develop creative craft.
• Collaborate with CDs/ECDs/CCO and cross-functional teams.
