Job summary

Adventist Health Long Beach, CA seeks a Manager, Accreditation & Regulatory Compliance to lead day-to-day readiness, audits, mock surveys, and licensing across facilities, ensuring CMS, The Joint Commission, and state standards are met.

You will supervise a team, collaborate with nursing, medical staff, and operations, develop corrective action plans, and maintain policy documentation. This role anchors enterprise-wide compliance and training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience.
• Master's Degree: Preferred
• Five years' healthcare or related experience: Preferred
• Three years' in accreditation, regulatory compliance or process improvements: Preferred
• Two years' leadership experience: Preferred

Responsibilities

• Partners with system, network, and site leadership to align regulatory compliance programs with organizational strategy, quality initiatives, patient safety priorities, and risk reduction goals.
• Provides leadership and expertise in accreditation, licensing and regulatory compliance; manages a team safeguarding facility licensing status and compliance.
• Conducts annual State regulatory compliance assessment and manages action plans and responses to citations; prepares reports for leadership.
• Designs and implements systems for continual regulatory, licensure and accreditation compliance; maintains documents and monitors Joint Commission standards.
• Collaborates with Risk Management, Quality, Medical staff and other departments on regulatory issues and policy planning.
