Job summary

The Veterans Health Administration unit seeks a Registered Nurse to serve as Accreditation Coordinator within the Quality Management Service. The role acts as a technical advisor on accreditation, coordinating presurvey/post-survey requirements and related items across SLVHCS.

The incumbent leads continuous readiness and education in regulatory matters. The position emphasizes collaboration with leadership and frontline staff to ensure compliance with OIG, TJC, OAWP, OMI, CARF, and other survey

Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing in any US state.
• Experience coordinating accreditation activities and regulatory readiness.
• Strong collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate accreditation activities across the Southeast Louisiana Veterans Health Care System (SLVHCS).
• Lead and participate in surveys, tracers, audits, and mock surveys.
• Provide training and consultation on regulatory and accreditation matters.
