The Accreditation Coordinator supports the accreditation process by managing documentation, coordinating with departments, and assisting with audits to ensure the healthcare facility meets CMS, State, and accreditation body standards. Key responsibilities include organizing files, tracking progress for audits and corrective action plans, scheduling meetings, liaising with internal and external stakeholders, and preparing reports and correspondence.

Graduate from NLN School of Nursing. Clinical background of at least 5 years preferred.
Currently licensed to practice as an LPN or RN in the state of Mississippi.
Must have de‑escalation training completed by the end of position orientation (90 days); must have appropriate level of de‑escalation training.
Experience or knowledge with accreditation processes and surveys in hospital and clinic settings preferred. General administrative experience required. Customer service experience required.

Work is moderately active: involves sitting with frequent requirements to move about the office, move around the facility, and travel to another facility within the SRHS service area. Work involves exerting a negligible amount of force to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Work involves many repetitive motions with wrists, hands, and fingers while operating office equipment. Work requires ability to perceive sound at normal speaking levels and to see with normal visual acuity. Work requires being active for extended periods and adapting to schedule changes.

Must work under pressure and meet deadlines. Attention to detail and multi-tasking required. Must maintain collaborative relationships across SRHS and partner organizations.

Must be proficient with computer, MS Outlook, Word, telephone, fax. Must demonstrate appropriate clinical judgment for patients of all ages.
