Andrews University's School of Education and International Studies seeks an Accreditation and Credential Coordinator to oversee assessment and certification activities for NAD, APA, CACREP, NASP, CAEP, and state approvals, while supporting SEIS accreditation and program data needs.
You will advise candidates on licensure, maintain official records, coordinate admissions to teacher education and graduate programs, and serve as liaison with regulators and accrediting bodies.

School of Education and International Studies (SEIS) accreditation activities include assisting office faculty with assessment plans, and aggregating data from multiple sources. This position is also responsible for advising, monitoring, and reporting for undergraduate and graduate education candidates on certification, licensure, endorsement, and program completion requirements, including maintaining official records and monitoring candidate progress.

The role coordinates admissions to teacher education and SEIS graduate programs, supports formal recommendations for licensure and certification through the North American Division of Seventh-day Adventists, the State of Michigan, and other jurisdictions, and manages communication and advising for partnership programs with Seventh-day Adventist unions and conferences.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS) required. Master’s Degree and prior experience in the areas of assessment, accreditation, and certification strongly preferred. Need a good understanding of academic records. Must have knowledge of strong organizational and computer skills. Quality Control Analysis and record keeping are essential. LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read and interpret documents such as transcripts. bulletins. minutes. general instructions. and procedure manuals. Ability to write correspondence. Ability to speak effectively and clearly with individuals/students. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to perform computational and analytical tasks required for descriptive and basic inferential statistics, calculate figures and amounts, and general math. REASONING ABILITY Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Must be a Seventh-day Adventist in good and regular standing.
Strong computer skills, including: word processing; spreadsheets; Able to organize data, conduct data analysis, and write accreditation and certificatino reports using data tools, such as SPSS, PowerBi, Jamovi, and other tools; email; Google Workspace; Microsoft Office; and communication tools such as Zoom and Teams.
