Job summary

Multimatic in Butler, IN seeks an experienced operator for the ACCRA press line. You will manage production and OEE, operate line controls, and perform quality checks to maintain part integrity.

You will support senior techs, execute line changeovers, assist with basic die maintenance, and uphold 5S standards while collaborating with peers across shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience operating ACCRA press line or similar equipment.
• Ability to perform routine quality checks and document results.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and responsiveness to downtime events.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for production and OEE on an assigned ACCRA press line.
• Operate ACCRA press line controls, start up and shut down as needed.
• Perform all part and quality checks at prescribed intervals.
• Assist Senior ACCRA Tech with troubleshooting and downtime issues.
• Handle all press changeovers for the assigned line.
• Recover press, equipment and robots from error or faulted position.
• Assist with basic die maintenance during production runs.

• Operate and fully understand ACCRA press line controls. Startup line and shut down line when required.
• Preform all part and quality checks at given intervals
• Assist Senior ACCRA Tech on all troubleshooting and unplanned downtime issues
• Responsible for all press changeovers at assigned ACCRA press line
• Recover press, equipment and robots from error or faulted position
• Make minor process adjustments as needed to maintain necessary part quality
• Lead and maintain 5S standards
• Work collaboratively with other production operators on the ACCRA lines
• Communicate effectively with other ACCRA Techs on other shifts
• Have a professional customer service attitude and ability to communicate with all levels of associates
• Additional responsibilities may be added when necessary

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Responsible for production and OEE on an assigned ACCRA press line
• Operate and fully understand ACCRA press line controls. Startup line and shut down line when required.
• Preform all part and quality checks at given intervals
• Assist Senior ACCRA Tech on all troubleshooting and unplanned downtime issues
• Responsible for all press changeovers at assigned ACCRA press line
• Assist tool and die in basic die maintenance during a production run (clearing debris, oiling, greasing, etc.)
• Recover press, equipment and robots from error or faulted position
• Responsible for assigned production documentation (Changeover documents, production board, downtime, etc.)
• Make minor process adjustments as needed to maintain necessary part quality
• Lead and maintain 5S standards
• Work collaboratively with other production operators on the ACCRA lines
• Communicate effectively with other ACCRA Techs on other shifts
• Have a professional customer service attitude and ability to communicate with all levels of associates
