Job summary

NFI Industries is seeking an Accounts Specialist to handle A/P, A/R, G/L, weekly budgeting, and support monthly closes in our distribution center. The role includes customer service duties and reports to the General Manager.

Responsibilities

• Answers emails and phone calls that are not limited to small parcel quotes for customer service, questions from customers, AR details/questions from NFI AR, and invoice requests.
• Responsible for billing customer accounts
• Ensuring customer rate increases are initiated and maintained
• Other administrative tasks as directed by local management specific to the facility's needs

Overview

The Accounts Specialist handles general accounting functions including accounts payable (A/P), accounts receivable (A/R), general ledgers (G/L), weekly budgeting, and assists in monthly closes. Also has customer service responsibilities within the distribution center. This position will report to the General Manager.

Responsibilities

• Prepares weekly operating budgets/projections
• Analyzes and reconciles accounts
• Provides assistance on the monthly close
• Prepares reports for management
• Enters journal entries, coordinates A/P, A/R and G/L
• Answers emails and phone calls that are not limited to small parcel quotes for customer service, questions from customers, AR details/questions from NFI AR, and invoice requests.

We are excited to share the base hourly rate for this position is $20.50XHOUR OR $21.50/HOUR. NFI takes into consideration applicants' qualifications, experience, education, geographic location, when determining a starting rate of pay. This position may also be eligible for an additional $X/HOUR based on shift work.
