Job summary

Johnsonville Sausage, LLC is seeking an Accounts Receivable Support to join the North American team in Wisconsin. You will analyze financial data, report results, and ensure timely, accurate financial transactions.

The role offers interaction with multiple business partners and a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is pursuing or has completed coursework in Accounting/Finance with strong Excel and communication skills, ready to support deductions and check processing while driving

Qualifications

• Pursuing or completed coursework/degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business field preferred.
• Prior experience or exposure to Accounting, Finance, Accounts Receivable, or related business processes preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to develop relationships with business partners.

Responsibilities

• Ownership over check processing including problem solving, research, analysis, and independent decision making.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners, brokers, sales, IT, finance, customer service and logistics.
• Provide weekly and/or monthly reporting to management as needed.
• Education and maintain adherence to deduction policies and procedures; support deductions/processes.

As a member of this team, you'll partner with other areas of the business, providing financial analysis for decision-making purposes. We'll rely on you to report, plan and evaluate our financial results, as well as ensure our financial transactions and reports are timely, accurate and efficient. In short, you'll help drive our exceptional financial performance.

Position Overview

We have an opportunity for a detail oriented, proactive individual who is dedicated to exceptional analyzation to join our Accounts Receivable Team as Accounts Receivable Support working with our US Retail, Food Service and Canada business. This member will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of activities in our fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Ownership over check processing including problem solving, research, analysis, and independent decision making

• Work in multiple systems, and understand how they interact with each other

• Collaborate with internal and external business partners, brokers, sales, IT, finance, customer service and logistics
• Handle the administration of adherence to deduction policies and procedures
• Continuous improvement mindset while being accountable for deduction metrics and continually able to analyze and explain impact of deduction transactions and check requests
• Willing to educate, support sales/brokers on deduction/claims process
• Provide weekly and/or monthly reporting to management as needed
• Other duties as assigned

Education

• Pursuing or completed coursework/degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business field preferred

Experience

• Prior experience or exposure to Accounting, Finance, Accounts Receivable, or related business processes preferred

Skills

• Computer Skills - with emphasis in Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, One Note

• Drives change and seeks opportunities for process improvements and personal growth
• Excellent communication skills and ability to develop relationships with business partners
• Ability to adapt to change quickly and efficiently while meeting or exceeding established metrics
