Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Louisiana is seeking an Accounts Receivable Associate to research customer inquiries, process NSF checks, electronic payments and bank drafts, and reconcile with General Ledger. The role reports to the Supervisor of AR and requires collaboration across multiple departments.
Residency in or relocation to Louisiana is preferred. A high school diploma is required, with an associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field preferred.

This position is responsible for daily account receivable research related to customer inquiries or issues received from Customer Service, Producer Service, Broker/Agent, District Office and any departmental or financial institution. The position is also responsible for the daily processing of NSF (non-sufficient fund) checks, electronic payments, bank drafts and credit card returns by the bank. Accountable for complying with all laws and regulations associated with duties and responsibilities.
