Angels of Care Pediatric Home Health is seeking an AR Specialist to support the revenue cycle through timely processing of accounts receivable activities. The role focuses on claim submissions, follow-up on balances, and resolving payment discrepancies while ensuring payer compliance.

Remote work is available with training on-site in McKinney, TX during the first week. The ideal candidate has 3+ years in revenue cycle management and experience with Waystar and Availity.

• High school diploma required.
• 3+ years of revenue cycle management experience.

Responsabilidades

• Follow up on unpaid or denied claims per payer guidelines.
• Review and resolve denied claims with timely resubmissions.
• Initiate and track denials appeals with proper documentation.
• Escalate complex account discrepancies to leadership.
• Analyze denial patterns to identify systemic issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve workflows.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and payer regulations.
• Adhere to documented policies and training materials.

Work Location: Remote work setting.

Onsite in McKinney, Texas office for training the first week preferred.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, daytime business hours (full-time)

The AR Specialist plays an essential role in supporting the revenue cycle by ensuring timely and accurate processing of accounts receivable activities. This position is responsible for managing claim submissions, following up on outstanding balances, resolving payment discrepancies, and maintaining compliance with payer requirements. The AR Specialist works closely with internal teams to ensure efficient cash flow and contributes to the overall financial health of the organization.

In this role, you will:

• Conduct follow-up on unpaid or denied claims in accordance with payer guidelines.
• Review and resolved denied claims, ensuring timely resubmissions.
• Initiate and track denials appeals for denied claims, ensuring proper documentation and timely submission.
• Identify and escalation complex account discrepancies to appropriate leadership.
• Analyze denial patterns and identify trends that may indicate systemic issues.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to address recurring issues and improveworkflows.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and payer-specific regulations.
• Follow documented policies, procedures, and training materials.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the leadership team in support of departmental and organizational objectives.
• Any other duties assigned by leadership team

Qualifications:

• High school diploma
• 3+ years of revenue cycle management.
