Job summary

Cintas Corporation is seeking an Accounts Receivable Representative in Amarillo, TX. Responsibilities include managing all accounts receivable activities, identifying delinquent accounts and planning actions to recover payments, and maintaining related records with regular updates to the database.

The role involves heavy customer contact by phone, negotiation of payoff deadlines or payment plans, and resolving discrepancies to protect relationships with customers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years' collections experience.
• Ability to use confidential information in a professional manner to achieve collections targets/goals.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and intranet/internet.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounts receivable related functions and monitor assigned accounts for outstanding debts.
• Make heavy phone calls to customers to collect payments.
• Negotiate payoff deadlines or payment plans with debtors.
• Investigate discrepancies and resolve issues; update account status.
• Alert supervisors of customers unwilling or unable to pay outstanding amounts; support compliance with legal actions when needed.

Job Description

Cintas is seeking an Accounts Receivable Representative. Responsibilities include all accounts receivable related functions, including keeping track of assigned accounts to identify outstanding debts; planning course of action to recover outstanding payments; heavy phone activity with customers; locating and contacting debtors regarding payment status; negotiating payoff deadlines or payment plans; handling questions or complaints; investigating and resolving discrepancies; establishing good relationships with customers; updating account status and database regularly; alerting supervisors of customers unwilling or unable to pay outstanding amounts; complying with requirements when legal action is unavoidable.
