Eau Claire County is seeking an Accounts Receivable/Compliance Review Fiscal Associate to manage accounts receivable, billing, collections, and GAAP-compliant fiscal support for the DHS. You will prepare, process, and reconcile financial records and assist with contract administration and audits.

The role utilizes Avatar, Linq, eWiSACWIS, CARES, QuickBooks, ForwardHealth, and PandaDocs to maintain data accuracy and timely reporting; requires an associate degree, 3 years in accounting, 2 years

Qualifikationen

• Associate degree in accounting or related field.
• Three (3) years of experience in general accounting/bookkeeping.
• Two (2) years of experience using Microsoft Excel software.
• Appointment will be conditional upon successful completion of credit, caregiver, and criminal background checks.
• Experience performing governmental accounting and grant reporting duties, preferably in a human services area.

Aufgaben

• Performs accounts receivable and general accounting functions in accordance with GAAP and policies.
• Prepares, processes, and monitors invoices, payments, deposits, journal entries, and reconciliations for DHS programs.
• Coordinates billing for third-party payers and resolves discrepancies in billing and accounts.
• Conducts collection activities for outstanding accounts and researches reimbursement opportunities.
• Maintains financial records and supports audits with documentation and collaboration.
• Prepares monthly, year-to-date, and ad hoc financial reports for leadership analysis.
• Monitors changes to DHS, DCF, Medicaid, and related regulations to ensure compliance.
• Uses Avatar, Linq, eWiSACWIS, CARES, QuickBooks, ForwardHealth, and PandaDocs to maintain data and workflows.
