Job summary

ISC (Integrated Specialty Coverages, LLC) seeks an Accounts Receivable Specialist in California. You will manage cash, interface with internal/external producers, and drive process improvements in accounting platforms.

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
• Willingness to work hybrid out of Carlsbad office, full-time in the office to start

Responsibilities

• Providing customer service to both external and internal teams
• Operating in multiple insurance-based accounting platforms
• Posting incoming cash streams through multiple high-volume bank accounts
• Invoicing, direct billing, and managing dispute settlements
• Monitoring aged receivables and facilitating collections
• Maintaining financial records for affiliated companies by analyzing balance sheets and general ledger accounts
• Reconciling general and subsidiary bank accounts by gathering and balancing information
• Providing financial status information by preparing special reports and completing special projects
• Correcting errors by posting adjusting journal entries
• Maintaining general ledger accounts by reconciling accounts receivable details and control accounts
• Maintaining accounting controls by following policies and procedures and complying with federal, state, and local financial legal requirements
• Updating job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading professional publications
• Accomplishing accounting and organizational missions by completing related results as needed

Job Summary

As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will be responsible for accurate cash management and for accurately representing that data on our accounting platforms. You will maintain positive relationships with our internal and external producers and help identify opportunities for improvements in operational efficiency, process improvement, and accounting concepts.

Candidates must be located within a commutable distance to Carlsbad and be willing to work onsite in our office full-time for a probationary period, after which they will move to a hybrid schedule of 2 days working from home and 3 days in the office.

Minimum Qualifications

The starting hourly pay scale for this position is listed below. Actual starting pay will be based on factors such as skills, qualifications, training, and experience. In addition, the company offers comprehensive benefits including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k) plan with match, paid time off, and other benefits.ISC's salary ranges are determined by role and level. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations and could be higher or lower based on a multitude of factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

National Pay Range: $24.76 USD - $30.95 USD
