Job summary

Humana is seeking an Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable Clerk 3 to join its remote US-based team. The role handles vendor invoices, customer payments, ledger reconciliation, and routine financial reporting with independent judgment and initiative.

Eligible candidates have 1+ year in finance, strong MS Office skills, and experience with AR/AP processes. This is a fully remote position with standard 40-hour weeks and competitive benefits.

Become a part of our caring community The Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable Clerk 3 prepares, records, verifies, analyzes and reports accounts payable/receivable transactions. The Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable Clerk 3 performs advanced administrative/operational/customer support duties that require independent initiative and judgment. May apply intermediate mathematical skills. The Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable Clerk 3 pays vendor invoices and receives and posts customer payments on a timely basis. Maintains and reconciles accounts payable/receivable ledger accounts, financial statements and reports. Prepares analyses and reconciliations of bill runs to detect fraud. Ensures that transaction entry verification procedures are followed. Prepares and delivers low-volume customer billing and respond to resulting queries. Decisions are typically focus on methods, tactics and processes for completing administrative tasks/projects. Regularly exercises discretion and judgment in prioritizing requests and interpreting and adapting procedures, processes and techniques, and works under limited guidance due to previous experience/breadth and depth of knowledge of administrative processes and organizational knowledge Use your skills to make an impact Required Qualifications

• 1 or more years of finance experience

• Experience working in MS Office tools such as Outlook, Word, PowerPoint Excel, Access
• Experience completing accounts receivable, accounts payable or other finance/accounting procedures

Scheduled Weekly Hours 40 Pay Range The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting.
