Job summary

Agua Caliente Casinos seeks an Accounts Payable support professional to assist the Accounting Supervisor and contribute to the reconciliation of AP and General Ledger documents. The role involves ensuring accurate cash requirements, vendor compliance, and adherence to internal controls.

You will train AP staff, review procedures, and participate in daily accounting operations while delivering excellent guest service within a casino environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2–3 years office experience; accounting experience preferred.
• Experience with Accounts Payable and General Ledger processes is expected.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cash requirements for approval.
• Prepare month end reconciliation of A/P and General Ledger for approval.
• Advise supervisor of vendor transaction discrepancies.
• Recommend changes to AP processing and policies.
• Train AP team members.
• Review AP compliance with internal controls.
• Assist with daily accounting operations.
• Assist Accounts Payable / General Ledger staff as required.
• Assist with data entry and special projects as assigned.
• Provide excellent guest service.
• Adhere to tribal regulations and internal controls and standard operating procedures.
