Nucor Rebar Fabrication in Lexington, NC is seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to support the AP department. You will enter and post invoices, code PO invoices, and print checks while maintaining vendor relations and ensuring accurate, timely payments.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years of AP experience, a high school diploma or GED, and strong Excel skills. This on-site role requires attention to detail and confidentiality in handling financial information.

Qualifications

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
• High school diploma, GED, or local/state equivalent required.
• Two to three years prior accounts payable experience or equivalent work history.

Responsibilities

• Enter and post invoices into the accounts payable system.
• Scan and enter email invoices to locations for approval.
• Code and voucher all purchase order invoices.
• Answer vendor inquiries regarding payment and communicate with internal personnel to resolve problems.
• Print checks weekly.
• Match paid invoices to check stubs.
• Maintain paid invoice files.
• Review vendor statements.
• Coordinate freight invoice entry.
• Perform month-end processes.
• Perform other duties required by the Accounts Payable Lead.
