LHH Recruitment Solutions has partnered with a well-known technology group in search of a contract-to-hire Accounts Payable Specialist in Southlake, TX. The opportunity is paying $25-$27 per hour, depending on experience. The AP specialist will be responsible for expense reporting, high volume coding, check-runs, and 1099 processing.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the timely and accurate processing of all AP transactions including but not limited to vendor invoices, expense pay files, and cash activity; includes understanding of vendor activity to ensure proper coding of expense on the GL
• Responsible for all weekly payment run processes (check, ACH, and/or wire)
• Participate in annual 1099 preparation and filing
• Prepare account, vendor, and other reconciliations as needed
• Review and audit expense report submissions for accuracy, coding, and compliance with T&E policies
• Review, code, and obtain receipt support for activity processed on multiple credit card programs
• Participate in unclaimed property reporting and compliance
• Effectively manage the relationship with both internal and external customers
• Research vendor and employee inquiries to determine appropriate course of action; escalate when necessary to Accounting Manager for resolution

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• 4+ years relevant accounts payable experience
• Excellent prioritization and organizational skills
• Display good judgment and strong problem solving ability
• Attention to detail and ability to multi-task
