Job summary

Planned Parenthood League of Massachusetts (PPLM) is seeking an Accounts Payable & Payroll Accountant to support our Finance team. This role handles accounts payable, payroll support, general ledger activities, inventory accounting, reconciliations, and audit preparation to ensure timely financial processing and compliance.

The successful candidate will work cross-functionally with HR and Operations, uphold internal controls, and contribute to process improvements while maintaining

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field or equivalent.
• Experience in accounts payable and payroll functions.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Knowledge of general ledger, reconciliations, and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Manage full accounts payable processes including vendor setup and payments.
• Support payroll data accuracy and compliance with wage laws.
• Prepare journal entries and reconcile general ledger accounts.
• Maintain inventory records and perform reconciliations.
• Assist with audits and strengthen internal controls.
