How You Make An Impact

Oversees the Accounts Payable team, ensuring timely, accurate, and complete invoice processing. Applies organizational and analytical skills to prioritize tasks and maintain data integrity. Uses PC skills in a network-based automated environment and communicates effectively with other departments.

Achievement of objectives requires a commitment to quality and the ability to drive organizational change.

What Success Looks Like

• Supervises, trains, and mentors onsite and remote AP Analysts; sets team goals.
• Ensures AP processes are accurate and timely, including processing, vouchering, posting vendor invoices, managing payments, and maintaining records.
• Assists with cash planning and bank wire transfers.
• Oversees intercompany reconciliations and resolves related issues.
• Supports other departments with discrepancy research and vendor inquiries.
• Maintains accurate records and reports.
• Monitors unvouchered accounts and ensures timely clearance.
• Prepares and reviews journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Ensures proper period-end cutoffs for accurate financial reporting.
• Prepares monthly and quarterly reports and participates in special projects.
• Prepares documentation for J-Sox compliance.
• Recommends process improvements and assists with upgrades.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

• B.S. degree plus 5 years of relevant experience or equivalent.
• Experience in Accounts Payable, reconciliation, and month-end closing.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Windows-based software, especially Excel and Word.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and prioritize multiple projects independently.
• Attention to detail.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Oracle software and manufacturing environment accounting.
