Job summary

Lineage Logistics in Novi, MI is seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to support processing invoices across multiple locations and maintain supplier records. You will thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced environment and ensure adherence to department policies while delivering accurate, timely payments.

Key duties include responding to inquiries, three-way matching, and resolving payment discrepancies. You will collaborate with internal teams and external vendors, contributing to continuous process

• Assist project leaders in project goals, by working assigned projects and completing tasks within the assigned due date.

Job description

Responsible for processing invoices, responding to inquiries, and creating/maintaining supplier records. Must have the ability to multi-task and work as part of a team, ensuring department policies and procedures are followed and items are processed accurately. Candidate must thrive in a high volume, fast past environment. Candidate must be adaptable to changing technology and continuous process improvement ensuring world class operations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties may be assigned)

• Knowledge of Accounts Payables practices, general office procedures, & accounting policies.
• Process supplier invoices in a timely manner for multiple locations.
• Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices.
• Respond to inquiries and requests from internal and external customers.
• Understanding of requisitioning, purchase orders, receipt of goods and three-way matching.
• Research and resolve invoice and payment discrepancies.
• Assist project leaders in project goals, by working assigned projects and completing tasks within the assigned due date.

REQUIREMENT AND QUALIFICATIONS
