Job summary

Lakeside Foods Inc. in Manitowoc, WI, seeks an Accounts Payable Associate – Level 2 to manage vendor invoices with accuracy, maintain confidentiality, and support the financial engine behind our growing manufacturing family.

You will review contracts, process settlements, reconcile invoices, and ensure correct GL coding while safeguarding data. This full-time role offers stable work at our Manitowoc Corporate Office with competitive pay and a strong team-based culture.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Accounting or three (3)+ years of accounting experience.
• Strong working knowledge of accounting systems.

Responsibilities

• Process and verify invoices with precision, accuracy, and confidentiality.
• Review contracts and process grower settlements, charges, credits, and check runs.
• Reconcile invoices for raw materials, packaging, finished goods, freight, storage, and utilities.
• Match invoices to agreements and ensure rates, terms, and GL coding are correct.
• Maintain vendor records and ensure proper tax documentation.
• Assist with check runs, wires, manual checks, and stop payments.
• Reconcile AP accounts to the General Ledger monthly.
• Step in as backup for other AP functions when needed.
