Job summary

CBIZ is seeking a finance professional in Cleveland, OH to manage cash reconciliations (local, consolidated, payroll) and book all corporate cash transactions. You will handle compensation program accounting, quarterly debt certificates, and coordinate with teams for timely completion.

Responsibilities include quarterly surveys, government reporting, and intercompany reconciliations, with SOX and SOC review responsibilities. Collaboration with corporate finance across departments is essential.

Responsibilities

• Oversee cash reconciliations including local, consolidated, and payroll cash.
• Book all corporate cash transactions through corporate cash accounts.
• Account for CBIZ compensation and retention programs.
• Prepare quarterly bank certificates related to debt and coordinate with involved teams.
• Conduct quarterly internal financial reporting surveys.
• Complete government statutory surveys (e.g., US Census Bureau).
• Record/consolidate results of Captive Insurance Company.
• Review intercompany reconciliations, public filings, and select SOX SOC reports.
• Serve as a liaison between corporate finance and other departments.

• Responsible for booking all corporate cash transactions – going through corporate cash accounts
• Responsible for the accounting of certain CBIZ compensation and retention programs.
• Responsible for preparing quarterly bank certificate associated with our debt. Establish productive relationships with other team members and departments involved in this process to ensure timely completion
• Conduct quarterly internal financial reporting surveys
• Responsible for completing relevant government statutory surveys such as reporting to US Census Bureau
• Responsible for recording / consolidating of the results of Captive Insurance Company
• Responsible for the review of the following:
  • Intercompany reconciliation
  • Areas in the public filings as assigned
  • SOX control testing review as assigned, including review of certain applicable SOC reports
• Serve as a liaison between corporate finance and other corporate functional departments to promote collaboration and communications
