Job summary

Nucor Steel Brandenburg is seeking an Accounts Payable Administrator to process vendor invoices, ensure timely payments, and maintain the accounts payable system. You will be part of a safety-first team on a modern brick-and-mortar plant along the Ohio River.

Qualified applicants have a two-year business or AP-related degree or two years of AP experience, with advanced Excel and MS Office skills. Overtime may be required. Location: Brandenburg, KY.

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications: Advanced computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint, and other MS Office products).
• Two-year business or related degree, or 2 years of Accounts Payable experience.
• Ability to work overtime.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the US; no visa sponsorship expected.

Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices and ensure timely payments.
• Maintain all facets of the accounts payable system.
• Secure discounts whenever possible.
• Uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards.

Basic Job Functions

Nucor Steel Brandenburg is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Accounts Payable Administrator. As an Accounts Payable Administrator, you will be responsible for processing vendor invoices, ensuring timely payments, and maintaining the accounts payable system. Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
