Job summary

Oliver James in the United States is seeking an experienced audit and advisory professional to join a leading advisory practice. The role focuses on external audit, assurance and high-value deals, leveraging a strong GAAP/IFRS background and a track record with large public filers.

Candidates should have 4+ years in Big 4/Top 10 firms, CPA preferred or in process, and be comfortable engaging with C-suite executives.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance; Masters preferred.
• CPA certification preferred – in process considered.
• 4+ years in Audit, Assurance, Advisory or Deals/FDD at a Public Accounting firm (Big 4/Top 10 preferred).
• Experience with large, public filers (Audit/Assurance) & High Value Transactions (Deals/FDD).
• Professional demeanor with ability to communicate with C-suite executives.
• Self-starter who can work independently or in a team.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, FASB & SEC/ASC rules.
• Adaptable to evolving tech (AI, RPA, etc.).

• Demonstrated ability to quickly adapt to changing technological environments (AI, RPA etc.)
